Pranzato con moglie in questo locale alle spalle del Parlamento.Menù molto ristretto, abbiamo preso una carbonara e una grigia (piena di peperoncino) e contorni.Porzioni scarse per la norma di Roma prezzo giusto e servizio gentile e veloce.Cosa più unica che rara, non mi era mai successo in nessuna parte del mondo; non fanno il caffè.Insomma esperienza normale nulla di trascendentale.

Tipica trattoria romana dove assaporare i piatti della tradizione. Carbonara e trippa da urlo! Personale simpatico, gentile e disponibile anche con noi che avevamo al seguito un nutrito gruppo di adolescenti! Consigliatissimo per un tuffo nella tradizione culinaria romanesca!

On check in we asked the hotel for a dinner recommendation authentic Italian, not fancy. Immediately she replied Gino 's and called to make a reservation. We got the last table our lucky day! Gino 's is an absolute gem. It is small, busy and makes you feel welcome immediately. There are paints frescoes on the ceiling, tables re close, and you feel that perhaps you are in Nonni 's house! The food is perfect home made by the Italian family that runs it (children of the original owner), with generous portions, genuine bod taste and generous servings. The pasta carbonara starter is the best I 'v ever had. My husband had the Bolognese, also delicious. My husband had Rosso buck also best category, and I had a dish with chicken, peppers and olives made in the oven. Excellent. The house wine is great. We were so pleased that we returned two nights later, taking a late seating so that we could have that delicious food again. We shared a meatball zuchini appetizer beef and veal and outrageous. We both ordered the carbonara as a main course, using th delicious bread to mop up every bit of sauce. We shared a tiramisu for dessert. The meal is one of the best ever. Our wonderful waiter, Lorenzo (both nights) made the event extra special. He is charming, knowledgable, serving each course at precisely the right time. We absolutely loved Gino 's.

We have been to the same place in 2020 and we had a great impression. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed. A restaurant shouldn’t rest on its laurels but continue offering the same standard of services and quality. The service was ignoring us and attention to even basic hygiene wasn’t given. Hope this was a non recurring incident and “Da Gino” will continue offering good quality food like in the past.
