Cotto - Rome

Irish couple love Cotto. Visited Ristorante Cotto for this evening’s meal. Would highly recommend. Rosario looked after us excellently throughout. Professional and fun! Beautiful quality food. Even given sample of Italys finest Limoncello. Fabulous experience. Thanks Rosario.

Ok but they advertise a lunch menu outside for 14euros, for 3 courses but when you get sat down and ask for that, their response is business lunch only ! When you check the board outside again it does say business lunch but a long way from the menu at 14e. We also heard another family asking for the same thing so it fools a lot of people. Otherwise food good, but that trick spoiled the experience for us.

We were referred by our hotel to this restaurant for pizza. The pizza was mediocre and the service was lacking. We had 3 servers come and go to our table which sounds like a lot of service, but no one seemed to attend to us.

On the first day in rome we had lunch in this restaurant and ate a carbonara that put us in great mood for how good it was. so much that the next evening we returned and again we were not disappointed, indeed all great: amatrician, cacio and pepper and saltimbocca. Thank you very much.
