Feedback gevenVery nice small restaurant with some tables outside in a small, quiet street in trastevere. beautiful environment, very friendly service, great wine choice to very cheap trips. eating tasted like mother made it with much love. we enjoyed every dish and every bite. the coda alla vaccinara, ochsetail, was a dream. 4 hours slowly glow in tomato sauce. the parmigiana as starter was prefect, not fat. the surprise was the mousse au chocolat: a kind of cake from mousse with hazelnuts. fantastic, we almost forgot to make the photo. my vegetarian friend as ravioli filled with ricotta and spinat in a creamy, homemade sauce with gorgonzola and radicchio. the red wine montepulciano d abruzzo should be half full, instead we finished this smooth wine completely. this place will be my number one if in rom, as homemade cuisine was very rare due to high tourism. most restaurants, even expensive, use comfortable eating, as tourist only come once who cares. but il tarallo is different!

The food was amazing! Great service and cheerful employees. The atmosphere was really nice. Definitely memorable.
We had a fabulous dinner there and tried multiple items... the Frito misto, Alle gricia, Carbonara, Amitricaina, the meatballs in a mushroom sauce. All were wonderful. We also had a red and white wine as well as an aperol spritz and those were very good too. Highly recommend!!
