We went on a Monday night and though we did make a reservation, the restaurant wasn't crossers and we could have easily walked in. This place a bit bigger than other spots so you do get your own table and the service was very attentive. We started with the buffalo mozzarella that was sort of a caprese salad. The freshest mozzarella I've ever tasted. It was creamy, smooth, and cool. We also tried the fried artichoke which was perfectly cooked with the right amount of flavor and crunch. Next, we split entrees of pesto rigatoni and linguini with clams and mussels. These dishes were btw €12-15. The portion size on the linguini was MASSIVE and we couldn't finish. It was perfectly cooked pasta with the right amount of flavor and fresh seafood. The pesto was so flavorful on its own that I could have just eaten it on bread. Hands down the best pesto sauce I have eaten. It was incredibly rich and creamy and had the right amount of nuttiness without that being overpowering. We also got the house red for about €6 which was more expensive than others but all worth it. This restaurant is owned and operated by two women who both cook and serve. It made it really special to know who actually cooked our food. Another highly recommended dinner spot in Rome!
Our second night in Rome my son found this lovely hidden spot and it was absolutely lovely! Check it out if ur ever in Rome, it's a hard find but so worth it!
