Feedback gevenMay be one of my worst experience ever. I am french and was dreaming to et again the famous Poulet de Bresse, witch is something really exceptionnal. I found this restaurant on Internet. The client were writing on Trip Advisor that it's not really ok but not for the good reasons. I mean that was writen that the place is not nice, or too small or I don't know what. After were comments saying that it's amazing and discribing the full menu. The menu is well discribe, but that's all. The food is awful, the Poulet de Bresse burned and totaly dry, and such a small portion that it's a shame.Run away !
On a family weekend we couldn't have escaped tasting the famous Bresse chicken. We didn't regret it: the eggs muerretes soup and the salad with greisons were a very nice beginning. The roasted Bresse chicken as well as the one in cream souce were all delicious. The prices are a bit on the upper mark considering the Brasserie is in the country-side. Yet we thought it was worth it, especially with the desserts home-made in a good quality. To sum it up - traditional country-side french quisine with emphasis on the areas speciality. We recommend.
It takes a long time to eat lunch here. The food is very traditional but boring. The room is dark and old fashioned. The service chilly. None of the other diners seemed to be enjoying themselves. Wait to eat in Beaune if you are traveling north.
