We phoned to tell them this and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. After calling again after 30 minutes, I spoke to another gentleman who apologised for the delay and said it was on its way but overall I then had to heat my dinner up in the microwave as I didn't have a naan bread to eat with it after a 40 minute wait for this. Something that was supposed to be a treat on a Saturday night ended up a microwave meal which was very disappointing, and a very expensive microwave meal at that. This is the second time in a row that we have been let down by this restaurant with a takeaway. We no longer go to the restaurant to have a meal as the staff aren't very accommodating and the manager is extremely rude. Overall, I will definitely not be returning to the restaurant to have a takeaway and will not recommend to any friends or family. Going by reviews (which I wish I read before ordering) this isn't the first time its happened.
My family had a wonderful dining experience at Kushi Romford. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Our waiter, Sam, was helpful in explaining the specials and new dishes. My wife and I decided to try something different, the Hiyrali chicken, and it was delicious! The food was fresh and bursting with flavor. We aren't big fans of extreme spice, but the flavors were just right. Even the children enjoyed their meal, and the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. We look forward to dining here again in the new year!
Excellent recommendations, the food and service was was amazing exactly as described. Thoroughly enjoyable at a reasonable cost
Just had an amazing DESHI chicken Bhuna That was recommended by Sam Seyam lovely Bangladeshi dish, Better than what I was going to order. Always great food service.
Feel sad to write this review as regular customers of Kushi. It was our go to Indian restaurant on Main Road since opening 10 years ago. We ate on Saturday night. They were busy but nothing excuses a wait of well over an hour for food. We decided to wait unlike a number of others who gave up and left. The food fell below that which we normally receive here and the ambiance was not the usual one. Your decision to get an alcohol licence is going to lose you loyal customers like us. We like to choose our own quality wine to enjoy with what is usually good food here. Your cocktails were super sweet. Unfortunately we will not be returning unless you keep the bring your own alcohol policy. Sorry
