Went on a Sunday. 5 people behind the counter and stood there for around 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged my families presence. The only people that truly seemed to care was the two males working. Everyone else had the F it attitude. This used to be a good LJS when Dale Wallace managed it. Now it is horrible customer service and dirty.
Best chicken ever!!! I love eating it with malt vinegar. The hush puppies were so fresh and good. The tea was the best I've had in a long time. No lines no waiting. Great customer service.
My family and I grew up in this area of town and have eaten here plenty of times over the years till I moved. I still come to town every couple of months to visit with my family members who lives within 10 minutes of this restaurant. Occasionally, we still visit this restaurant. I sometimes stop and get my elderly father something to eat. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to stop and get cup of Ice Tea. I went inside and ordered a large tea. I asked the manager on duty if I could have a small to go container. She refused. She told me the only way to get one is to order food. I was appalled. I just wanted a small container to put some leftover food in. I have spent a lot of money over the years and I ordered a cup of Ice tea, yet I was still refused. When I informed her that I will no longer be visiting this restaurant in the future. She just looked at me and rolled her eyes. I also informed my friends and family that live nearby. With this type of service, I don't see this store staying in business very much longer. They certainly lost me and my extended family's business. Also, the exterior of this store is in terrible shape and needs to be updated severely.
