Pizza Hut Honeydew - Roodepoort

There seem to be so many take-away pizza places around that they really need to be exceptional in order to stand out. That is probably the only reason for pizza hut not getting more stars from me: it wasn't all that different from any other pizza place. Their service was polite, timely and professional. The pizza was tasty and the option to build your own operated without any hitches. I was interested to find that the thin base actually sits somewhere between traditional thin and thick bases, with a definite crispness that I wasn't expecting. All in all a worthwhile place for a take-away meal, eating there might be a little cramped, but you do get compensation in the former of free WiFi.

Was given the option of thin (traditional) or thick crust pizza. We chose the thin crust.<br/ <br/ When we got our pizzas back home the crust was a lot thicker than what we are used to in SA and was more like a bread in texture not very crispy. I shudder to think what the tick crust would be like.<br/ <br/ Overall taste was very good nice herby fresh tasting tomato sauce and well spiced meat topping (spicy boerewors).<br/ <br/ Very filling due to the thicker than normal crust so only ate 6 of the  8 pieces. Next time I'll just ask them to cut the pizza into 6 pieces so I can finish it all.<br/ <br/ But if what you like about a pizza is a thin, crisp crust then this won't be for you. I also prefer the taste of pizza cooked in a wood burning oven (which these are not) but that is a just a personal preference..<br/ <br/ Still a good tasty filling pizza pity about the crust.<br/ <br/ The chocolate dunkers though were amazingly good definitely add these on to any order you place.

Super tasty pizza!! As everyone knows a lot on the oily side, but delicious none the less. Cant wait for the branch to get bigger! Don't really like the South African twist on the American brand. We know what a our pizza tastes like, that's why we came to an American outlet. Awesome corn flour pizza bases!

I am so chaffed Pizza Hut is back! Firstly, they taste, look and smell just the same as I remember, the service is friendly and professional, staff are well trained compared to other fast food outlets in SA, my ONLY gripe is when ordering delivery it takes forever! The pizza is always hot but I have waited up to an hour (4km away for my delivery, that said, it was amazing and delivery time can always improve as long as the product remains the same, well done to the team tasked with training the staff etc, I'm a happy Pizza Hut customer ;
