The ham and pineapple pizza in the photos is the lovely pizza they sent me home with for takeout. I did drive back and they did remake it, but honestly not worth it at all. When I got back the cook is smoking a heater at the bar top with karaoke man, and the bartender was the one doing the refire? Super confused. Honestly I 'm mad I didn 't read the menu and just ordered what my fiancée asked for, idk where in world that caprese would be acceptable. Spinach for real spinach. Which at the end of the day is funny because they were out of spinach so they subbed F 'ing romain. The house made balsamic looks like straight oil with a touch of balsamic at the very bottom and the mozzarella was shredded processed ****. Overall this just a cover name, this place is Cheers bar. Not a different restaurant. Take your money for food elsewhere.
I've only gotten takeout for obvious reasons, but chef Ian Woodiel goes out of his way to prepare delicious and unique dishes. The menu represents a fresh take on classic bar and comfort foods. His creations are good for both the adventurous and those more conservative about food choices. For example, his version of the sloppy joe is made with brisket and it's excellent (and quite sloppy). They also mix up the menu monthly with special dishes straight from Ian's imagination.
During the COVID era, we decided to try this restaurant for their pizza. The first time we ordered, it was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, with generous toppings. We loved it so much that we ordered a second time. Unfortunately, the second order was disappointing. The crust was thick, more like a loaf of bread with an excessive amount of flour on the bottom, making it almost inedible. We even tried scraping off the flour but it didn't help. It's baffling how the quality of the pizza went from great on the first order to terrible on the second. In the end, we had to throw away both pizzas.
"The best pizza and wings in the city, accompanied by nightly karaoke that you won't want to skip! I highly recommend trying the chicken parm meal, as it is incredibly satisfying."
