To prevent any misunderstanding, I specified "bacon" in the instructions. Shortly after, I received a message from UberEats stating I was being charged an extra $5 for an adjustment. When I called the restaurant to inquire about this charge, I was told it was because I requested extra bacon. Even if that was true, I didn't understand why I was being charged an excessive $5 when the turkey bacon option was only 50 cents. It felt like they were arbitrarily inflating their prices. I tried to explain my situation, but rather than listening, the employee—whose title I couldn't identify—rudely said he didn’t have time to talk and abruptly hung up. While the food was typical diner fare, it was the poor service that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will definitely not be ordering from them again.
