Service was great. Lots of parking. They make noodles and they're good at them. Her fried Chinesse Doughnut is made fresh in the house and tasty addicted.
I typed in “hu tieu” in Yelp and this place appeared. There are many parking spaces on the left side of the building, while the right side was reserved for outdoor dining. I went to the front door and said I wanted to dive. The guy said you got a seat at the table and call him when he's ready to order. So we went and to the table, had a small note that said if you are ready to order, please call this phone number. That the menu could be viewed electronically on Yelp, inside on the wall, or printed paper menu at the entrance. We were not satisfied with the paper menu, so we went back. The official menu on the wall had more pages with photos. The first page showed the types of noodles offered such as large or small rice noodles, thin or thick egg noodles and other types. Then we went back to take a place and then the food was brought to us in a bag with removal containers. I thought it was strange that the broth was in a separate container and you poured into the broth yourself in the bowl. Condiments, garnishes and veggies were all in sandwich bags. Before dinner we were served Chinese Long Doughnut. The parts were huge! My mother and I shared a soup pan between us. My mother got the hu tieu combo plus liver and I got mi (egg noodles) with char siu and wonton. My mother loved her meal and said it resembles Vietnam and how much she enjoyed it that she ended everything. I enjoyed it for me. The broth was clear, not too sweet or salty, no **** tasted. The part was too much for me and I had to take the rest home. After we finished, we went back to pay the bill. I think people have fallen if the payment is not taken before, because everything is in the containers.
My favorite place for noodles here in SGV hands down! Quality food and the friendly service. I've been here since they went to Valley Blvd, and I still find myself back and over.
Ate the Pho Tai here. Pretty good. Meat is a bit tough and not tender though. If you are a big eater, you may want to order extra noodles. Free ice or hot tea. Pretty good tea. Service is quick. Been here three times and all three times the food came out quickly.
