The restaurant would be great if they actually adhered to their posted hours. I really enjoyed the pasties during my last visit, but it's best to call ahead before going, or you might find yourself without any pasties.

The restaurant appeared unclean and had an unpleasant odor. I didn't feel comfortable eating there.

My wife is from northern Michigan, and I’m from the East Coast. Calumet is her favorite spot for a meal, no matter the occasion. She adores their soups, especially the dill pickle one, and believes their pasties are some of the best she’s ever tasted. Everything is fresh and made to order. Mad_Duck 24 really captured the essence of this place in their review, and I can confirm that everything is still exactly as described. On those rare occasions when my wife might be upset with me, food from here does a better job than flowers at making amends!

I've known Dave for almost 30 years, he's an amazing person as well as business owner. his food has always been top notch, whether it be his store front or catering services.

My fiancé just brought home some of these pasties and they’re so good! Definitely recommend.?
