El Azteca Taqueria - Roseville

The restaurant is always busy, but unfortunately, the food is no longer as impressive as it used to be, and prices have increased compared to other Mexican restaurants. I'm referring specifically to the Chili Verde Burrito and chips with salsa. I would recommend choosing Don Quixote instead, as it's a better option and more affordable.

This place could be so much more, then it is from the good prices to the delicious food this place was my Roseville version of Super Taco. I and my son visited yesterday and found the place to be clean and with friendly staff and as always the food was solid. There were, however, a few things that should be treated, and we are not first the flooded men's ward room that nobody treated with the empty sodaspender. Advise if problems arise, correct them instead of ignore them.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The margaritas are large and delicious, though a bit pricey. I was also pleased to find a dark beer on tap. I will definitely return!

I really enjoy this restaurant, but I wish they would offer larger salsa bowls. The chips hardly fit in the small bowls, and it seems unreasonable to ask for more than one. However, I absolutely love the enchiladas, and the salsa is delicious. The staff is also very friendly. The only issue for me is the size of the salsa bowls. Since it’s unlimited, you’d think they’d want to provide bigger ones to avoid frequent refills.

Either you're going to love this place or it's a Once and done. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. You won't find a pool of grease on your plate, just fresh ingredients. There was a lack of flavor in everything we ate. Even the salsa was bland. The margarita was huge, but tasted watered down. The beer on tap was refreshing. Their chile relleno came from the kitchen hot and melted in your mouth with no flavor. If you prefer your food on the bland side, this is your type of Mexican restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant switch to table service instead of having people stand in line. This is not a good date spot, because there's nothing to do besides have dinner. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
