Flaming Grill Buffet (roslindale Location)

Overall, this restaurant stands out as one of the best in its category. Although you might not anticipate such high-quality dining, I can genuinely say that everything was quite impressive—more than I expected! This is a testament to the management's commitment to high standards and cleanliness. There’s a diverse range of menu options, and they are consistently refreshed. None of the dishes seemed to have been left out for too long.

This time, the food was exceptionally fresh. I arrived at 3:30 PM, which I highly recommend, as that's when the dinner menu starts. The dishes were served hot, tender, and quite satisfying. The server was attentive and promptly cleared our dirty plates, which I appreciated. However, I was let down by the sushi; it never seems to be fresh. Additionally, not all staff members were using the gloves provided next to the food, and I’m particular about that. In places where gloves aren't available, I bring my own because I believe they should be mandatory.

The staff's attitudes were quite rude, and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. It's evident that they don't take into account the financial situations of their customers—leaving a tip should be entirely up to the individual's discretion. In stark contrast, I had a far better experience at the Royal Buffet in Chicopee, where the food was authentically Chinese, and there was no upfront payment or pressure to tip. If the servers at the Roslindale location are so fixated on tips, they might want to reconsider their career paths. The only redeeming feature of the restaurant was the hibachi grill and the crawfish, but one should be cautious about the overall freshness of the food, as some items appeared stale and the desserts were less than fresh. It seems that the quality of service and the overall experience might improve significantly if the clientele were different, which raises concerns about potential biases in how they treat their patrons.

Generally one of the best in this realm. Obviously you don't expect much in terms of quality but I can say that honestly everything without exception was very good. Surprisingly!!!!That clearly speaks volumes to how this place is run and how it's cleaned. Many offerings with cleanliness and constant replenishment. None of the dishes look like they've been sitting there all night.

This place is perfect if you like to just stuff your face and do not care about food quality. Staff was courteous and friendly, but the food quality gave it a soup kitchen feel. Compared to the rest of the customers there, felt cheap just being there. Definitely will not be going back again. Only other positive thing other than the staff is the cheesecake was pretty good. Go figure, Chinese buffet good cheesecake.
