Trattoria Al Casello - Rossano

Siamo stati due volte in questo ristorante. La cucina è autentica, locale e casalinga: buona, semplice e senza pretese di "rivisitazioni". Abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza calorosa da parte del proprietario. Vi consigliamo di lasciarvi guidare da lui nella scelta dei piatti. Gli antipasti sono ottimi ed abbondanti. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccezionale.

We recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at this trattoria. We were not looking to have a full three course lunch so we just ordered the antipasti, which was a delicious assortment of various dishes typical of the region. We enjoyed the food enormously and the owner Giovanni was a very welcoming and helpful host. I would highly recommend this Trattoria to anyone looking for a delicious and reasonably price lunch or dinner.

My group of 10 were recommended his charming trattoria by Mario at the Tenuta Ciminata Greco for dinner. There was no menu, and as often can be the case this turned out to be a good sign. We had a lovely series of mixed antipasti to share, followed by spaghetti with anchovies (or another pasta alternative); and then steak or baccala with tomatoes. All delicious and served with copious lovely local red wine. The total came to €221, which the ever attentive and delightful Giovanni reduced to €200. At €20 per head, this was terrific value.
