The Sunday roast sharing platter at this restaurant is the best I've had in years.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and Tazmin in particular goes above and beyond to ensure everything is going smoothly.

I was very disappointed with our experience at the restaurant, despite hearing good things about the Sunday roast. We waited 15 minutes at our table for someone to take our drink order, but ended up going to the bar ourselves. After another 30-minute wait for our food order to be taken (again, we had to approach the bar), we were informed that they had run out of all roasts and only had everything else on the menu except for steak. When we finally decided on our order, everything we asked for was also unavailable. With three hungry kids in tow, we decided to leave and try somewhere else. The waiter, who showed no interest throughout, apologized and said the manager would come to explain. However, the manager simply shrugged, walked away, and never came over to speak with us. Despite the restaurant being half full at 4:30pm on a Sunday, no explanation or apology was provided. The lack of response from the staff speaks volumes, and we will not be returning.

Always great food, service and atmosphere in The Plough on the Moor. We've been in quite a few times lately and each time Tamsin has gone over and above to help us out stellar customer service and very grateful for it!

Went in for a late breakfast, service excellent and food tasty.
