Honestly, I feel a little deceived. Plus: Fun location, nice staff. But: We went there because of the information on Happy Cow: Great picture of a cool salad, many vegan options and supportive owner . This week 's menu is a) not the website b) vegan options are not clearly marked c) all vegan options are (partly) fried. The tacos were ok, though the sauce was very sweet for my taste. The popcorn was partly almost too hard to eat. Also, had to wait quite a while although restaurant almost empty and pretty expensive for what you get. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-17

Eating the vegan warrior made my boyfriend think he was indeed a vegan warrior. He unfortunately tried to fight someone on the side of the road and is now in jail. If you or your loved ones consume this delicious breakfast be warned

The Vegan Warrior was delicious, really the best breakfast I've had in NZ. The staff is super friendly and the decor is funky and cute. I'd highly recommend this place for vegan breakfast. My partner is not vegan, he also really enjoyed his breakfast, so a good place for mixed groups. Vegan items are clearly marked on menu.
