Excellent place to relax with dinner and a beer. The beer selection was acceptable and the food was good. Generous portions. Staff were welcoming, nice and patient with us first timers. The female staff at the counter explained that I could grab a menu from the bar counter, have a seat, and order at the bar when ready. The two of us shared the Tomahawk cooked medium rare, mussels, onion rings and two beers. The Tomahawk was nicely done, juicy and tender. The fries that came with it was hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside perfect. We tried eating the mussels with utensils (like we did at a previous restaurant) but these were harder to open so we gave up and just enjoyed eating them with our hands there are washrooms with soap and water available. The onion rings and beers were good and complemented the meal nicely.

Dinner was excellent. Everything was cooked well and served quickly albeit we were there right on 5pm. Service was great. Really enjoyed the night. Another awesome dinner, steak with chips and hubby had a large burger and chips. Yummy, thank you again for an awesome afternoon.

Definitely had a sports bar vibe, but staff are super friendly, a great mix of patrons and to top it if, the DJ's 90s RnB vibes made for an enjoyable night! Recommended

Meanest feed, struggled to finish it. Highly recommend 10/10. You wont be disappointed. Pork belly was unbelievably tender, ribs were fall off the bone. Reka whanau

My go to pub to catch marquee live sports, big screen and numerous satellite TVs around the venue inside and out on the deck. good choice of draught beers and food menu is tasty and great value. TAB betting and gambling machines also available if thats your thing too
