The Fainting Goat - Rotorua

A local recommended this restaurant to us when we were craving Asian food, and we were not disappointed! The portions were generous. However, we found the food could have been spicier (we ordered medium spicy), and the seafood, like the mussels, could have been fresher. I suggest opting for the prawn Tom Yum instead. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re in town. Yum!

I went for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent, prepared just as I requested. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find plenty of good options for both starters and main courses. I’ve already recommended this place to a few friends who are visiting Rotorua next week. Amazing people and incredible meals made for an egg-ceptional experience!

The food was just average for Thai cuisine; you could likely find better options at similar prices elsewhere. However, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy.

The service here is so fast and good. The waiters are very welcoming and kind I never wanted to leave. The food here is DELICIOUS I definitely recommend the fried rice and the sizzling chicken. The price is a bit expensive but it is totally worth it. (One of my favourite restaurants now) Thank you!

We had takeout from The Thai restaurant. I ordered food online without any issues. Food is good. The curry puff is delicious. Seafood Tom Yam is tasty . The mains red curry, spicy crispy fish and the chicken noodle are all good taste. The two mains came with steamed rice. Overall happy .
