Frostie Bites - Round Lake Beach

It's a bit on the expensive side, but I really enjoy the vibrant candy shop decor and I'm fond of the gnome!

Feels like a business in decline. Tried vanilla, pistachio and cheesecake flavors but all turned out to be plain flavorless yogurt. No chocolate or tart flavors available. The topping selection was way less than the photos showed. No hot fudge or caramel available either.

Took my sons for the 1st time last week. They loved it. Quick and easy place for froyo.But I give 2 stars because the hours are a mess. It's always a hit or miss. No matter what your website, Yelp, or Google says. Whoever you have running the shop must call their hours because it seems to be open only sporadically. I tried taking my husband and kids yesterday at 3pm and it was closed. Lights off chairs up.My mother had a similar experience a year ago when visiting. She went with her grandkids during hours and it was closed.

Got here ay 7:15 on a Sunday, the hours sign (which is hand written) says they are open until 8pm on Sundays. The freezers inside the store are empty, place is clearly shut down.
