Pizza Hut - Round Lake

This was my first visit to this location, and I was impressed by the quick and efficient service. The staff was friendly, and despite the hustle and bustle, I only had to wait about five minutes for my pickup. The pizza was delicious, and I will definitely be returning!

I placed a lunchtime order over the phone and was informed to wait about 20 minutes. When I arrived, my order was ready. I noticed the COVID safety signs on the door, which reminded customers to wear masks and limited the number of people inside to three at a time. Robert, who took my order, was friendly and engaged in small talk while I paid at the register. It had been a couple of years since I last had Pizza Hut, but I’m definitely planning to return to this place. I appreciate their excellent customer service and the quality of their pizza.

The stuffed crust pizza was fantastic! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, which is always a pleasant bonus.

I've never encountered a hair in my food until today. I called the restaurant and was informed that it's an issue with the distributor, as they only stretch the dough and don't make it themselves. They offered me a credit, but I'm uncertain about returning anytime soon. I can't dismiss the manager's explanation, especially since the hair was baked into the dough rather than just sitting on top. However, you can see the situation for yourself and make your own judgment.

I called the restaurant to express my frustration about the pizzas I had paid for, and the manager told me that he cooked them and that this is how Pizza Hut pizzas have looked and tasted for years. I could tell he was lying when he mentioned that I was the only order that went through the oven all day—really? I was the only customer at such a late hour? He informed me that I couldn’t get a replacement order or return the pizzas because of the DoorDash pricing policy. This is outrageous! I felt ripped off for spending $70 trying to feed my family for the night. I'm extremely frustrated because it seemed like he was telling me to just accept it.
