This was the best meal I had in Italy!! I had the pork roast and highly recommend it. The Flan appetizer with some kind of a dill cream sauce was unbelievably tasty, so start with that. Eliodoro is a small family run restaurant that seats only 15 to 20 people. Paula, the chef, prepares only food that is available on the local farms and vineyards. Paula will check up on you throughout your meal. Because its so small, the service is fantastic and reservations are recommended. One tip, bring your Italian translation book as the family speaks little English. Its not much of a problem and only adds to the great ambiance of eating at this restaurant situated on the family's ancestral land just outside of Roverbella Italy. One of my favorite things about eating here was drinking locally produced red wines and sampling Paula's home made liquors with very interesting flavors such as sage/mint. We left a little tipsy, but it was not a problem since we stayed at the Corte Cornalino B&B next door which is also great. Enjoy!!

Good. Good food. excellent seasonal degotation of the fruits of nature. all based on pumpkin, this time, and hay. every month a different theme. compliments, also for the preparation and kindness of the two owners. Really good!

Always a great pleasure! a year away I finally returned to the heliodor farm, one of my favorite places. This family-run farm offers themed menus based on the period. I opted for this: Zucca-mania menu all dishes were excellent, especially for risotto with pumpkin, oranges and rosemary. I look forward to being able to try the next themed menus (for example in summer you can find cherry-themed menus, peaches, etc. super friendly hosts.
