I really liked the quality of the food and the sides/ spices they offered were nice. They also have a simple machine that rotates most single skewers for you. Its all over charcoal so there's a nice flavor that comes with that. Oh you get to cook your own skewers. Prices could be a bit nicer but I'd still come again. Sides we got here were kimchi, radish, tomatoes, and bean sprouts. Drinks was barley tea and finally we got strawberry ice cream for desert.
Jasmine was a great server and helped us pick some awesome skewers and dishes. The mildly spiced lamb skewers, chicken w soft bone (cartilage), pork belly w scallops... very very bomb. The spicy cucumber with black mushroom was delicious. Jasmine mentioned that eating at Happy Hour here is a great deal too! The marinated beef, chicken hearts, gizzards, and okra were good, but the things I mentioned earlier were the really tasty things I'll come back for next time! I'll also try the spicier lamb and whatever Jasmine suggests!
Absolutely delicious Chinese BBQ! The skewers of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb were fantastic. I also sampled their corn cheese, fried buns, warm noodles, and potato cakes, and everything was wonderful! It's a cozy spot, perfect for enjoying a great dinner with family. The service was outstanding—big thanks to Calvin!
Restrooms are single-occupant and located at the back near the drinks fridge. To order, you simply select your choices on a paper menu, and a waiter will assist you in cooking the kebabs. Keep in mind that the meat takes some time to cook, and after it’s grilled, it’s served to you, so if you’re feeling hungry, it’s a good idea to order some cooked dishes in the meantime. I highly recommend the spicy cheese rice cake dish; it was delicious and had the perfect level of spiciness. The warm noodles come in a red soup and can easily serve about four people. Don’t miss out on the spicy lamb kebabs—they're fantastic. We also tried the beef, chicken, and pork belly. Each plate comes with two types of spice mix and a gochujang sauce for dipping, as the meats themselves aren't seasoned. The ambiance includes TVs playing the news and Top 40 hits as background music, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meat-centric meal.
Delicious BBQ in Rowland Heights! The prices for all the BBQ items are quite reasonable. However, the portion of the corn cheese is a bit small for $11. Overall, a great experience!
