I was disgusted to find dead bugs all over the windows and hanging from the blinds while I was trying to eat. Our server was also the bartender; she took our order but never came back, so we had to go up to her ourselves. There were other servers in the restaurant, so this was really unacceptable. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money at this location. The shrimp was spoiled and had to be sent back. The queso didn’t taste like queso at all; it tasted old and frankly, quite unpleasant. I could see the kitchen staff more focused on their phones than on cooking, which explains why we were served such old food. If you want to risk getting sick, go here; otherwise, take my advice and avoid it at all costs! We often eat at the Royse City location, and it's vastly superior to this one. Trust me, it's worth the drive!
WORST Food service I have EVER had in my 45 yrs of life. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant our waitress not once came to check on us. I paid extra for a side of special rice and didn't get it. We had to track her down after we were doneeating TWICE because the 1st time she was too busy on her phone to pay attention. DO NOT recommend this place at all! The foodwas awful. I wouldn't have even left a tip but the machine gave me no option not to. NOT HAPPY!!!!
I had heard great things about this restaurant, so as a private chef myself, I decided to give it a try—what a mistake! I ordered the $17 three-taco meal. The Spanish rice was both cold and burnt, and the refried beans looked unappealing. The only redeeming aspects of the meal were the chips and hot sauce that came with it, and the meat in the tacos, which was decent. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning!
Alejandro's used to be fantastic. My friends live nearby, and whenever I visited, we would always go multiple times. Unfortunately, they have reduced their menu by at least 50%. It's quite easy to include vegetarian options at a Mexican restaurant, and they used to have amazing veggie fajitas. Now, there are very few vegetarian choices available, and overall, the selection is quite limited. They don’t even offer to customize the fajitas by adding vegetables, which seems like a matter of principle. This decision doesn't really make sense, especially considering that hundreds of potential new customers have just moved into the new apartments across the street. If, as a former employee mentioned, happy hour isn’t doing well and there are so many potential new customers around, it seems they should try to attract them!
I spent a wonderful afternoon on the terrace! The food was great, the waiter was excellent!
