Shiny Wok - Rowlett

My 15-year-old son and I stopped here for lunch during an outing, and I was impressed with the cleanliness as soon as we walked in. I noticed we could substitute brown rice for just a dollar, which I thought was fantastic! My son ordered shrimp fried brown rice, while I had garlic shrimp with broccoli and brown rice. The $5.95 lunch specials also included an egg roll, which was a nice touch. We both enjoyed our meals, which were fresh and flavorful. The optional sauces added a good kick, and we appreciated having fresh lemon for our water. I opted for hot green tea, while my son had a frozen Mango Boba drink, and we felt relaxed and happy throughout our meal. The staff was friendly, and it was nice to see several regular customers stopping by. Overall, it was a lovely, affordable, and clean spot for a meal. Although we live quite far away, we will definitely come back again!

My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The Hunan chicken was very good and the service was fast. I will definitely try other dishes again.

Absolutely fantastic! The spicy chicken wings, egg rolls, and beef wide noodles were incredible! I've dined here twice, and both experiences were excellent. The owners are very nice and work incredibly hard.

Restaurant Test: As an enthusiast of American Chinese cuisine and a former USF pilot, I've had the opportunity to try various Chinese restaurants from Alaska to Florida, California to New York, and many places in between. Today, I decided to give this new restaurant a try. I ordered the Combo Lo Mein to-go. Once we arrived home, three family members joined me for a taste test, and we were all impressed! We unanimously agreed that it was some of the best Lo Mein we've ever had in a Chinese restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. For my next visit, I plan to try the General Tso's Chicken or the Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce, as those are favorites of mine from my time in the US.

Awesome food, the service was pretty good. The rice was a little dry, but the curry chicken was to die for
