Jimmy's Pies, Roxbourgh - Roxburgh

Cheap, tasty, and a great snack when passing by Roxburgh! If I had a bigger stomach, I’d probably eat more lol

Great pies. Dont forget to grab a bag of seconds to take some home for later.

Having had Jimmy's recommended to us, we had to drop in for a pie. Great pastry with matching internals. Only problem is I'm not sure when I can have another.

As somebody who was born and raised in Otago, and now lives in the North Island, I'm not exaggerating when I say that Jimmy's Pies are one of the main things that I miss, and always buy when I visit. I love this place, and I love the pies, there's nothing in the North Island that compares!

Worth it! Randomly read about it in a travel guide (which I don't normally go with) and I'm so glad I tried one. Had a mutton pie and every bite was delicious. Filling was well-seasoned, tasty and the quality of meat was excellent. The crust was substantial, flaky and screamed of homemade goodness.
