The Avenue - Royal Oak

I came here for the first time on a Sunday back at the end of October with my buddy for breakfast. I ordered up biscuits and gravy with over medium egg sausage and hash browns. They were pretty busy, but I didn't have to wait very long for my food. I have to say everyone was friendly, and this place seems like a well-run machine—the refills on coffee and water. This place is fantastic. When I was cashing out, the lady thanked us for coming.

Had a large carryout order and it was executed perfectly. She even gave us extra biscuits and gravy just in case something was wrong. Food was delicious and warm. I will be back!

The. Best. Service. Hands down I have ever had. The waitress there restored my hope and human kind. Amazing food amazing service. My new favorite diner.

Pretty good food. Mostly clean dining area but the floors were pretty dirty, especially under the large round tables. The waitstaff was very friendly but don't seem to be aware that their conversations can be heard by customers. Not normally a big deal but we heard a pretty detailed story while cashing out that would offend some. With the exception of the end of our visit, it was an overall good experience. Would eat here again. Try the chicken noodle soup!

We had the turkey club. Who knew that a restaurant still serves hand carved turkey breast? Very impressed. If you love McDonald's fries, and who doesn't, they are alike. Can't wait to go back.
