The Royal Diner - Royal Oak

Don 't miss this restaurant!!! Food is beyond what I expected. Excellent preparation and very fast service. My server was very helpful and made sure what I received was exactly what I wanted. The ribs were 'Melt In Your Mouth ' good! Flavor and such perfect. Better than most other 'rib ' places.

This is one of my favorite diners or family restaurants, as they have a fairly large and diverse menu and the food always seems come hot and fresh, the prices are reasonable and the staff is always polite, friendly and very attentive. I went here for dinner on Monday night and left my waitress, Mira, a nice tip as she shared with me that come Wednesday, most of them will be laid OFF due to a reduced staff for Takeout and the latest 3 or more week shutdown imposed by our Governor.

I usually get dessert and coffee when I come here. The food is really good the staff is really attentive and nice. Clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Portion sizes are BIG! That's a good thing. Eat some now, save some for later. My recent meal was the Royal burger. It was great. However, the one thing I like the most are the Blueberry pancakes. The pancakes are about a foot in diameter and the blueberries are spread throughout the pancakes. If you go, Kathy is a must have server!
