Le Dauphin - Royan

Situated on the marina, this restaurant is in a wonderful position to sit, relax and watch the sun go down. The food was great if you like seafood, but the overall choice is limited. The seafood platter (half a crab, 6 oysters, 3 large langoustines, 6 whelks, 4 large clams and a heap of mussels was great value at €22.50 (£18 at today's ex. rate). My wife's burger so so. But the service and ambience was first class. If you are a seafood junkie like me, then go for it, but if you like your French cuisine to be more varied and classical than sea-based, then you may be a bit disappointed. Nice place for sit and have a drink at anytime though.

Very good service. friendly staff. I highly recommend to the bar with his sauce a real murder. a mastery of perfect and tasty cuisine. My wife took the dry with the sun's vegetables that really melted and the delicious coffee. Go and enjoy your appetite.

And say that the france is lost I refuse to believe that having been eaten with the family in the restaurant located on the port of royan we have feasted in these nicely decorated and exotic flavors for me I took thai mussels a real pleasure to my wife a bar served with a risotto we would have thought we had avenged very quickly and thank you to the whole team we will return to your reception
