Le Fruit Defendu - Rueil-Malmaison

My man and I went here when we were close to us and were pleasantly surprised. great location with beautiful view. the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the personal is attentive and pleasant. Eat was delicious and we had a large bottle of wine that was all. was good value for money. beautiful evening for a couple who wishes a nice meal.

A very quite and beautiful and romantic restaurant with a terrasse over the river Seine. Kitchen and selection of wine, service with smiles are great !!

Good French cuisine. Average service. Somehow static menu. A cosy venue in a private house with garden.

We sat on the riverside on a balmy juli evening, but you should imagine the setting on a cooler night and it would have been perfect. candlelight, beautiful brise, flow flowing, and a few joy boats over. the menu is also fantastic and includes a lot of delicate creative fusion dishes. the only deceit was that dessert that I chose should be a sablé with fresh fruits, but the expected sablé turned out to be a very dry thick sort of biscuits.

The place is beautiful with a scene view of the river Seine from the terrasse. The food is good and could be much better and the choice of wines is fine. But the service was slow not only at our table but in all the...restaurant. The pace between meals was too long and one could say that the Sunday you have nothing else to do than enjoying, 3 hours for a lunch is long enough to become annoying.
