My partner and I spontaneously booked a table for two at this restaurant on a Sunday for lunch. It came highly recommended by locals, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and clean atmosphere, as well as the high quality of the food. The menu is somewhat limited, but we decided to try the specials: twice cooked pork belly and roasted stuffed lamb loin. The lamb was cooked perfectly, but I found the pork to be slightly overcooked in some areas. For dessert, we shared what I believe was an apple crumble, which was absolutely delicious. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but the saying "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here. The quality of the food was worth it in my opinion. We also tried the fruit cake, which was also tasty. I would recommend this restaurant for its quality food, friendly staff and owner, and pleasant ambience. If dining outside in the summer, just be mindful of the flies. I would give this restaurant a 7 out of 10.

Despite the long drive, this restaurant is definitely worth the journey. The ambiance is charming and reminiscent of a setting in France or Italy. The menu features interesting and delicious dishes, perfect for summer dining. The platters are large, tapas are unique, and the cakes are delightful, all made in-house. They offer a selection of local wines to pair with your meal. Whether you're dining with a large group or sharing a meal with someone special, you will not be disappointed with your experience here.

We had an amazing dining experience at a charming location. The food was amazing, the local wines were delightful, the service was attentive, and our hostess made us feel very welcome. We dined in the lovely garden area outside, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and offers a variety of condiments to take home. Highly recommended!

This place is a must to visit. Fantastic food and great choice of wines and beers. Helen is a wonderful host and will make you feel totally welcome. If it's not too hot, spending time under the trees in the garden is a great way to enjoy your time here. Overall a great place to visit.
