Cafe Rio Pizza - Ruidoso

Our server was wonderful, helpful and attentive. The pizza was amazing! Great flavor of garlic and Italian seasoning, the right amount of cheese and mushrooms. The dough was thin and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was relaxing, tight quarters, but felt like being at home with family. There was a little bit of a wait, but definitely worth it. Giving an honest opinion, this pizza place tries hard to stand out from the rest but fails to do so. Don’t get me wrong the pizza was okay but everything else, from service to drinks and salads just aren’t it. I tried this place a couple years back and decided to give them a second shot. The server visit our table once and that was to take our order. I had to call on other people to help me out. If you are wanting to enjoy your pizza with a nice good old Coca Cola, this isn’t the place to go.

The pizza is delicious but as a forewarning Cafe Rio is always super busy! We wanted two slices of pizza but because of the line it was gonna be a 30+ minute wait. It would be great if they had pizzas already made to have readily available slices. We ordered a pizza way in advance (around 4pm) so that it would be ready for pick up for dinner time at 7pm...this is prob your best bet...but I gotta say that the pizza is worth the wait!
