We began with some fried paprika, followed by an incredible African-inspired tomato-based baked egg dish with homemade garlic bread. For dessert, we enjoyed a delightful chocolate and coconut cheesecake, with the added bonus of a second dessert that was equally delicious. Vince was a wonderful host as always and the food was exceptional, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for excellent food and their own personal chef for the evening. Highly recommended!
Vincent's Diner has moved to a new location in Shepperton, but the experience remains just as incredible. Vincent is a wonderful host and an even better chef! The highlight of this visit was definitely the dessert – be sure to save room for seconds, as they offer some unique options. I highly recommend this spot if you're seeking a fantastic meal, impeccable service, and entertainment from the charismatic Vincent!
We surprised our mom with a dinner at "Indian Menu Courses" and had a delicious meal. We started with tasty dal and bread, followed by Goan fish curry, and finished with pandan and coconut pannacotta. All the courses were delicious. It was nice that we could bring our own drinks. The setting on Vincent's narrow boat was great, and he was very friendly. He played some beautiful background music that we could choose from (though we just wanted to relax). We paid what we thought the experience was worth. We will definitely return to try another menu.
I sat at last night on board vincents narrow boot and it was an amazing experience. vincent is clearly a fabulous cook that I chose with spicy prawn cocktail, normandy chicken and burnt lemon cream, each curs was great and seemed to be better. as everyone came! the dessert was a highlight for me. in my experience it is unusual to find all courses as good as each other! the venue is unique a private table at the river, with magnificent views. I was entertained by a family of fluffy chicks between the curses! vince is an amazing host who is an integral part of the experience. her own personal cook for the evening, traveled far (bringing these influences to be eaten) with a large selection of very entertaining layers. I don't think they can find this kind of experience anywhere. very happy to return to the near future! very recommended.
We were introduced by friends who just raved about this, and my word rightly so! Basically this is the most intermate (up to and different dining experience totally enhanced by Vincent himself. Story goes that whenever he entertained he was forever being told to...open up a restaurant. So why would you do that when you have a perfectly good long boat moored in a delightful part of the Thames? On booking Vincent sends you a selection of set menus, choose one (tricky) and bring your own booze. We went for the chicken dish as a main which was fab. Throughout the evening Vincent is fabulous company and an awesome host while he cooks and serves then at the end you simply pay him what you think it was worth. I really couldn’t recommend this enough either for yourself or as a great gift. We will be back for sure!
