The Village Take Away Rush

Even though this restaurant has sit-down tables, we always opt for their delicious takeaway fish and chips. We love enjoying them while sitting on the sea wall on a beautiful day like today.

This is without a doubt the top chip shop in Ireland. Everything they prepare is exceptional. Whether it's Fish and Chips, Burgers, Pizza, Kebabs, and more, everything is delicious. The owner Val is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about food. Situated in Rush, Co. Dublin, we are fortunate to have such a wonderful establishment in our town.

The restaurant serves fresh fish and chips on Fridays and Wednesdays but they can be reheated on other days which is not as delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

It can be difficult to find fresh fish and chips at this restaurant. It seems to depend on the timing of your visit. Unfortunately, during my last two visits, the chips were reheated and the fish and chicken were stale. However, the service is always very good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the pizzas, and after indulging in a slice, I decided to treat myself to a frothy and smooth milkshake. It was delicious.
