Wild Wood Country Club - Rush

The course was in great shape, and the greens were very challenging. Some really unique holes, and I would definitely play it again !

I am fairly unhappy after recent experiences at wildwood. The pace of play for probably the last month or so has been horrendous. Today, The course was loaded with people and we saw groups of 5 6. I looked online and it states that the course is closed Wednesdays from 1-530 for male members only. We never should’ve been allowed to book a tee time in the first place. After 9 holes we went to the pro shop to have a conversation. The older man at the counter was not pleasant and extremely defensive. Almost like he was inconvenienced that I had a poor experience. I was looking forward to a membership here next year as I live in Rush and love the course. I’m honestly really let down by this, Wildwood has been near and dear to my heart for years.

The golf course is absurd. It costs $50 for both golf and a cart, but the carts have GPS that prevents you from leaving the cart path to reach your ball. It's no surprise that many people are complaining about the slow pace of play. Clearly, it's a problem.

I play golf twice a week around Rochester, and this was the most disappointing experience I've had this season. The course was not well-maintained, and the staff was unfriendly. Considering the price, I would recommend looking for a better option elsewhere.
