All Star Bar B Q - Rusk

DJ and I traveled all over the country. I have eaten BBQ everywhere from California to Maine this place is really pretty good. The food was very delicious and hot. The service was also quite good and the interior was very clean. Next time I'm in rusk tx, I'm back for more.

Visited Rusk and took a chance to the Barbecue at All Star and was to say that some of the best I had and I have eaten barbecue all over Texas and the South. Do not let the look fool you, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

To be honest, I showed up late. And they run out of their daily food, which is understandable, cannot be fresh when it sits there all day or makes too much. The dune in closes at 4:00 p.m. after only walking up. It is a small town side of the street bbq/smoke Fleischplatz. Potato salad should die. Huge Houston Astros Fan. Let your Texas Ranger hat in the truck. I'm joking to see someone. The two ladies work very friendly and apologise they ran out of the pages and limited menus.

I can't even love this place enough. I'm very picky when it comes to BBQ. As soon as you open the door you are greeted by the aroma of just what BBQ is supposed to smell like. This place is worth the drive. The ribs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The brisket was just as tender as the ribs. The sweet tea is what Texas dreams are made of. Bonus ... the staff was friendly.
