Chez Manouche - Russell

I ordered two sandwiches, one pulled pork and the other smoke meat and an order of fries. After 20 minutes I still did not get my order. I had paid in advance but decided to leave without anything to eat since I had a meeting. There was no one in line there and three people working (talking) in the kitchen. So I have no idea how the food is. Service is very slow and can't imagine if there were five people in line.

Russell really needed another food spot! I found their poutine very comparable to the hot potato food truck in Embrun but it’s a lot closer and it was very super quick when we ordered! Prices are fair and portions are good! I would be interested to try out their breakfast menu the next time too! We need more variety here in Russell so it’s nice to see that they not only offer fried foods but gourmet sausages and breakfast items too!

Stopped in while taking a Sunday Drive... Worth the 60 minute trip, their Poutine is really good. Hot and fresh, and a generous amount of curds... Well done Chez Manouche!! We will be back!

We have picked up food there twice now. They are very nice to deal with and the food is good, and even better, the prices are decent. I hope they set up on that spot again in Spring.
