The Rutland branch of the Cottage Garden Society held its annual Garden Lunch on Friday 20th October ;the setting ,service and food were excellent . This pub is a treasure for Rutland . The best place to meet friends and family for a meal! We had a superb Sunday lunch yesterday. The menu was appealing, the food was beautifully cooked and delicious, the staff, as always, were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We called about one hour before arrival whilst travelling south on the A1l. They were very accomadating even though the restaurant was very busy during the lunch period.We worth a visit.
