I went with a few coworkers for a farewell dinner and had the steak, while most of them ordered the huge fish and chips. The atmosphere was beautiful and the dishes were beautifully decorated. The chips were also very delicious. We also enjoyed some appetizers and desserts. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
The Admiral Hornblower visited the restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. Despite not having made a reservation, we were quickly seated at a table for four. The staff was very professional and the four meals we ordered were excellent. We found it to be good value for money and would definitely return and recommend it to others.
I spent 3 nights at the Admiral Hornblower during a fishing trip at Rutland Water. The room was equipped with all the expected amenities and was always kept very clean. The only downside was that being an old building, there was little soundproofing and noise from people using the stairs and walking on the floor above could be heard. I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, with generous portions, and also had a very good evening meal. The Admiral Hornblower also has a lovely beer garden, beautifully landscaped. The staff were all attentive and friendly. Overall, I would recommend the Admiral Hornblower.
I visited the venue for drinks. decor is really pleasant and the staff is very friendly and friendly. the food was fresh and tasty (I had a Sunday roast). I didn't have the chance to try other dishes. I can go back. it was a good Sunday dinner!
Excellent! Sat in the garden for dinner. Service was good, and the Hornblower pie (chicken and leek) was delicious. Great mash and gravy too. Fondant for dessert was gooey and very chocolatey. Definitely glad we chose to eat there.
