Berardi - RUVO DI PUGLIA

Absolutely perfect delicious pasta. The hot chocolate is thick rich dark chocolate yum! Nice professional staff! We ate at the restaurant off of the side street as opposed to the bakery out front. My husband wanted a plain pasta and the chef came out to make sure he got it right. We were impressed!

We were on our way back from Puglia to Bari airport and had time to spare. We stopped in Ruvo di Puglia by chance and found a lovely town. Berardi Pasticceria had the most wonderful selection of cakes we had seen on the trip. Also its Easter display had to be seen to be believed. Outside they have a covered area on the pavement with tables. We had a Primi del Giorno from a choice of three pasta which was to die for. Perfect pasta! The made us filled Ciabata to take away to save us from Easyjet food. When we ate them on the plane a few hours later they were still delicious. The cakes we brought back not only were beautifully parcelled but survived the trip home intact. Not for long, consumed with relish. Fabulous!

We stayed at this place Saturday night. excellent reception by the staff, an anatonella applause, ready to meet with the smile every need. we start with a good starter of croutons to the truffle and then with a first of cutters always to the truffle really good. we have concluded with bakery and dark chocolate expertly combined with the wines of the evening. really thanks to the chefs berardi and paolo in particular.

Dinner based on truffle .... exceptional! croutons, cutlets, cardi and to conclude a super chocolate! recommended!
