Feedback gevenWent there this evening and ordered bake stuffed haddock. Waited for 90 minutes after ordering and it never came. Totally understaffed.
Had a great table upstairs, very good service. I ordered the jumbo lobster roll and my husband ordered fried clams and scallops. My husband loved his meal. My lobster roll was chock full, but unfortunately about half the lobster was undercooked. I spit out 3 mouthfuls and left a quarter of my sandwich, equal to about $10. The lobster was also wet! It was disgusting. For $39 I would expect a better product. Beware!
Ive been coming to hampton for 10 years and always stopped by your restarant for either clam chowder or lobster rolls. This year we were a family of 11. Got to be the worst service in history in a restarant. We ask for 4 bills to pay and was told they couldnt. The charge us for a group??? Very rude, bad service from the non smiling girl and us setting up the table, like placing fork knive napkins and so on. I wouldnt recomend this place to a homeless man if the bill was payed. Shame on you rays.
I was very excited to try Ray’s sea but was very quickly disappointed by the poor service, disrespectful waiters, and lack of communication as well as respect. I am not the type of person to leave a bad review but I honestly think this one is more than necessary. Being a group of 11 people we can understand how staff can feel overwhelmed. Although, I do not believe that to be good reason for staff to make the party feel rushed out of the restaurant. We did take into consideration that we arrived an hour before closing, which was not done on purpose, but that’s life in the restaurant industry. Needless to say the waiter was very rude and un-comprehensive of the fact that we wanted to have four bills Instead of one. Overall if you don’t like your job, change it, or put a smile on your face and give me a service worth 18% tip (what they obliged us to pay).
Very bad experience, I will never return to this place again. Bad service, the waitress, without smiling, gave us 2 piles of utensils that we had to distribute ourselves, very expensive for the quality of the menus, no right to decide on the tip, young people at the service, disrespectful, in short , a very bad experience. We were 11 disappointed people. For these reasons, I would give my rating a big 0. Diane St-Germain.
