Shisbourne - rye house, Hoddesdon

Had such a lovely meal, food cooked beautifully. The staff are very helpful polite. The singer is great too, not too loud so we could still talk but he is a very good performer. My one small concern is the disabled loo, no good if someone is in a wheelchair. I'd love to bring my family but this is essential. Plus, not essential but a nice touch, we used to get a small complimentary drink with the bill but nothing now.

Food was lovely, live music was spot on everyone up dancing in the end. Our waiter musti was great, so funny had us all laughing. Will definitely be back

As you walk in, you will be overwhelmed with the beautiful decore and gold cushioned seating. Then when the food comes you will feel like you are in some fancy 7 star michelin restaurant in mayfair or somthing. The experience is just wonderful and to top it off, our server ENIS was super attentive and friendly easily leaving a very positive feeling with us. My lamb shank was melt in the mouth, kids absolutly adored their generous portions of spag bog and grilled wings. Partner got a chicken beyti garnished with freash salad which also went down a treat. I expected to pay an arm and a leg but was delighted when the bill only came to £70. They also have a glass opening where u can watch your food be cooked. We left feeling full and happy. Will defo be back again

My favourite place to visit with friends and family! Food is delicious and Eniz is amazing at his job and makes everyone feel welcome! He makes it 5* . Will be back very soon!

Was our first time visiting ShishBourne last night, definitely won’t be our last! The food was amazing, live singer was great and our waiter Eniz was superb! He made our night ! Very funny and such a character. Look forward to coming back soon
