Peasy Hill Fish And Chip Shop - Ryedale

Heard good things about this place. Ridiculously large portion size of chips but terrible quality. Lady ahead of me complained about wrong fish and they did them again but she was still waiting when I got mine later so suspect they were her chips. Haddock was tough and pink whilst the cod was smelly. Mushy peas were good.

Excellent fish and chips perfectly cooked and delicious would definately recommend. Wish we had such a good fish and chip shop near where we live but nothing comes close!

This fish and chipy is definitely the best in malton the fish, especially the haddock is sweet and fresh along with a tasty batter. Curry and mushy peas are lovely especially together. Slurp will have to get some soon . The staff are friendly and kind especially the owner. Keep it up. Thanks. Ian

Large cod supper, I don’t mind waiting if it’s fried there and then and it was !! Lordy me, it was a huge bit of succulent cod expertly fried, just the right amount of crunch in the batter Chips were a bit overdone, nothing major as the hero was the cod and by golly what a hero it was Keep up the good work guys..

Discovered this hidden gem on the outskirts of Milton while biking. The fish and chips were delicious, especially with cheese! The staff was incredibly friendly and the locals were chatty. The only thing missing was a nearby bench to sit on, otherwise it would have been perfect.
