Beira Mar Sao Mateus - S MATEUS

We were staying at this lovely ,awesome location hotel . We had gone out for dinner , came back to our hotel and wanted to have drinks and dessert. The hotel told us that they could not unless we had ordered food . They had a lot of empty tables and I would believe that we would of been giving them business if they would of accomadated us . I don’t really understand ?? I think management needs to reconsider the wants and needs of the customer if they want to enhance their business

I don’t even know how the food tastes at this restaurant. We called and the waiter was so rude that we decided not to dine here. As we were told that there was no availability for the day we preferred, we tried to ask about the next days. However, we could not even ask because the person calling just rudely cut the call. Rude. Not worth my money.

The staff are wonderful, helpful and fast. The food is deliciously fresh and there is a great selection of seafood! Recomend!

With my wife and 1.5 y old daughter we had no reservation. Come at 18:30 and had nice shrimp starter. Nice red fish, best of the island. It was good. Total 50 euro, not that cheap but service and quality food was enjoyable.

By far best restaurant on the island and really only a 10 minute cab ride from Angra. The seafood was amazing and fresh and the staff were outstanding. We ended up eating there 2 nights (and I rarely repeat when traveling). Fish was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!
