Feedback gevenThe food was fantastic! We may have ordered more than we could handle, but everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful and attentive. They've done an excellent job renovating the place since it was an older sushi restaurant. This place definitely deserves a five-star rating. I’ll definitely be coming back!
What can I say about this restaurant? Tucked away in what we refer to as Old Pooler, just past Fun Zone on the right side of the highway, it offers a unique dining experience. We grilled all of our food ourselves, except for the vegetables and the Korean fried chicken. Every dish was fantastic, and we plan on returning for more. This place is a must-visit for couples or families. You absolutely have to try it—you won't be disappointed!
The Korean fried chicken was decent, but it tasted more like basic chicken with honey sauce, so I would give it a 7/10. Unfortunately, the side dishes were disappointing. They were lacking in seasoning, and the kimchi tasted so bland that store-bought versions are better. The black bean noodles were too watery and offered little flavor. I feel the kimchi could use more fermentation. The Korean pancakes were alright, but they could benefit from more kimchi and less flour. While the service was excellent and the servers were very nice, the food left much to be desired. I came for a fun experience, but I felt disappointed by the meal, which could have been executed much better. I'm not trying to criticize the restaurant harshly; I genuinely hope they improve their recipes to attract more tourists and regular customers. In conclusion, I wish them well and trust they will take my feedback into account for future improvements.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and the service was outstanding! I ordered tteokbokki, mackerel, and spicy octopus, along with a variety of side dishes, rice, and a refreshing Cass (Korean beer) to complete the meal. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area. While I’m not sure I would drive 5-6 hours just for this place, the food was certainly worth it. I couldn’t finish everything, so I took the leftovers home for dinner and brunch the next day. The tteokbokki had a sweet flavor (like pure sugar) and was milder in spice than I'm used to. The octopus wasn’t spicy either, but at least it wasn’t sweet – it paired perfectly with the rice. I actually polished off a whole bowl of rice by myself and had plenty of octopus sauce left for dinner later on.
The food here is amazing! It brought me back to Seoul. The Korean BBQ is definitely worth trying. The picture I included is from the à la carte menu, and it was still incredibly tasty! You must try this place if you’re in Pooler!
