We purchased some Chilean crab for New Year's Eve. After a few bites, we put the rest of it in the trash. It was mushy and disgusting. Not the typical, sweet taste of crab meat. I went to bed worrying that I was going to wake up sick in the middle of the night! An absolute waste of a lot of money!!!

I am Japanese and I bought sashimi grade tuna, salmon and kanpachi. When I opened the package at home, Kanpachi had rotten smell and I couldn't even eat it. I got refund back for Kanpachi but I won't go back again as I can't trust this shop at all. Price was more expansive than Japanese stores on convoy. Very sad.

Been ordering from CATALINA Offshore (online) for the past 8-9 years (for the holidays) and they have always provided consistent service. Today I called and wanted to add an item to an existing order that has not been shipped and was denied of the process.. where the representative wouldn't try to work with my requested inquiry. I don't believe it was over the top to add one item to the order. Shouldn't there be processes for those situations? It is totally an inconvenience along with having to pay the shipping amount twice. Lesson learned and will note this inconvenience following forward.

This seafood market is truly a hidden gem! I believe it’s one of the best seafood spots in San Diego due to the exceptional quality and freshness of their offerings. I absolutely love purchasing live crabs to make a cajun crab boil! They always have an array of unique and delicious spices and sauces that perfectly complement the fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, and more. Additionally, they offer handy tools like oyster shuckers and claw crackers, which are really useful. They also provide discounts for bulk purchases. The staff is incredibly friendly, making it an enjoyable experience for me and my 7-year-old! Thank you to everyone at Catalina Offshore Seafood Market—I can’t wait to visit again soon!
