Catamaran Resort Sea World At The Beach

What a quaint place to stay. It looks secluded and the staff and service are excellent.

The hotel staff was remarkably accommodating, friendly and truly concerned that we as guests were given every amenity the hotel had at it's access. At every phase of our stay, from the bellman to the front desk, restaurants, room service, maid service, simply everyone. The hotel was undergoing some renovations and they were somehow able to block off much of the visibility and sounds of the workers doing those renovations. I was certain to request a fully renovated room and they were able to accommodate my request. I understand the renovations will be completely finished soon, so it won't be necessary to make that request. To cap it all off, the view from our room in the Tower was, without question, the most amazing view we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying from a room in a hotel. We requested a Deluxe Bay View and it delivered far beyond my expectations. We had no need to go find a beach front bar with a view, it was not going to top this view. The grounds are amazing as well and the Cockatoo bird sanctuary on the grounds is a special treat for children and adults alike. The location is second to none when it comes to the San Diego beach experience. You are within a 30 second walk to Mission Bay and a 3 minute walk to the Pacific Ocean where you will find unending beach boardwalks, restaurants, bars, cute shopping areas, as well as cool homes along the walk and the people watching is kind of captivating. It was all such a magnificent experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a truly 1st class experience.

Photos do not do this resort justice- it is absolutely beautiful! Overall, the stay was fun, romantic, and relaxing. We definitely plan to go back.
