Chin's Szechwan Rancho Bernardo

Awesome atmosphere good service. Exactly what I was looking for. Beef broccoli and Kung Pao chicken were as I expected. Wonton strips, sweet sour sauce, and hot tea were good, standard fare. I'm very eager to return, to try all the other interesting food. I'm interested in the szechuan dishes (beef and chicken), as well as the spicy tangerine dishes. Also, didn't get to try any noodle dishes, but that's on the list to try also. July 2024

The woman taking my take-out order was super nice and fun to talk to and offered me water for my wait. Best take-out service I've probably ever had at a restaurant. Thanks a bunch!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, just after they opened. Brown rice was way overcooked.

Train your employees to be polite and nice, not only to customers but everyone else

As someone who has dined in/bought takeout many times, they have the worst customer service and also treat their workers with so much disrespect. Also a consistent problem with management. The workers who would come out occasionally looked like kids yet when there is any problem, they get yelled at and belittled. I dined in one night and noticed the manager behind the kitchen door screaming at the kids for what I assumed was a messed up order (she looked at a takeout bag and immediately went to the kitchen and I heard yelling). This was all while we were waiting to be seated.Another instance was when I was picking up a takeout order. I was waiting for my food, and the younger workers would come out and instantly get grilled, when another customer approached, she turned on a customer service voice and rushed the kids to help while she stood behind them and glared at them. I don't know if it was a bad day for her but it made me experience feel very uncomfortable and it seemed like the service was very fake. I was with my family and we decided then and there we wouldn't return. The waitresses are very accommodating but the manager seems very aggressive especially to the younger employees. Please do not let your kids work here nor dine because you never know what happens behind the scenes.
