Jollibee - S San Diego

Food wasn?t bad. The chicken sandwich was quite good. Ordered a burger as well. My only complaint was the food seemed pre made. So once I ordered, they pulled out prepackaged ones already made and gave it to me. Still tasted pretty good.

We were in the area and my daughter wanted to stop by. We have driven past but never gone in so figured why not. She got the spicy 2 piece chicken box with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the adobo rice. She lived the chicken, said it had just the right amount of spice and was super crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also a huge hit. She said even if instant they were soooo good. She wasn't a huge fan of the adobo rice though, said it was ok but not her favorite. Staff was pleasant and food came out pretty quickly. Overall successful Saturday night take out!

The food was amazing and the chicken was soft. I really like their authentic gravy which they provide. You will have a lot of budget friendly options. My only con was the service person didn't understand my name however his face reaction was awful for making him repeat my name the 3rd time.

Drive thru was decent. It didn't take too long. In terms of food, the chicken batter was a bit different than how chickenjoy tastes plus it slides off the entire chicken which doesn't really happen from when I've always ordered one. They also didn't have pineapple bbq ranch when we were there (could be because it was dinner time and they ran out) but just wanted to try it since that was new.

First I would like to start off by saying, I am a gigantic fan of most Jollibee. This location in Mira Mesa is doing a disservice to the brand. We got our order from the drive thru. And was told they were missing menu items. Then when we got the food, all of it was luke warm at best. The fries were sad. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious, but it seemed like the bread wasn't toasted or heated in any capacity. The flavor is there, but part of the experience for a good restaurant is fresh food, especially from the fryer. I've visited this restaurant two times, and thought it was a fluke, with the temperature. But sadly this was not the case. I will go to the National City location, where the food is prepared fresh and gives the restaurant the respect it deserves.
