Not too sweet, but of course nothing like the desserts you would get at Westminster. Our favorite was the sweet corn pudding. Nice tender morsels of sweet corn in a coconut cream sauce. Minus a star because the desserts were good but not great. If you're in the area and are in the mood for some Vietnamese desserts, then give this place a try. Be warned, don't expect Westminster quality.
Love this place! The desserts remind me of the way my grandma used to make them. So good!!
Best new place for plain T's pro club AAA and cargo shorts, thick thermals, swears, etc..Almost as good as the original fam bam from back in the day they usually have all sizes and colors and this close to mira mesa.
Great small mom and pop shop for some Vietnamese snacks and dessert. We actually ended up getting 5 items, the che ba mau (3 color che), che chua (banana che), flan, 3 layer jello and xoi! Being from San Jose, I miss having Vietnamese places at every corner to get these types of treats so I was happy to support this place. My favorite desert was the jello and flan! Give if a try if it's your first time, as these are pretty easy to eat. You can ask the lady at the front if they have more desserts in the back, she was able to bring out much more variety for us as the front fridges only had a couple items. FYI, the store has a lot of boxes in it so it might be a lil strange for someone as their first time but just go in and try it! You won't regret it. Most deserts are $2-3 each and they take cash only
